As I have said before in my blog I am an Anti-Theist. I Believe the religion is detremental to modern day society. I AM NOT a satanist or any varient because i believe that is equally as stupid as believing in god
This Type of Religous indocrtrination and black and white mentality is what i believe is a key contributer to hate, discrimination and prejiduce in the world today.. But don't dare think that oh well these are extremists and they are interpereting the holy book(s) wrong. No they are not extremists they are what i call literalists of the religion. They are simply taking the religion as it was written. People who are not doing this really aren't following the relgion as it was meant to. In the case of the bible it is the "word of god" and must be followed or you will go to hell. All people of the 3 major religions followed this through the bronze age and up until the 19th century. Than societies morals started to change and we started to pick and choose parts from the bible that we liked. We left out all the parts where it discriminates. Especially against women...
"But if ... evidences of virginity are not found for the young woman, then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones..."(Deuteronomy 22:20,21)
"Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it is a disgrace to him, but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her as a covering." (1 Corinthians 11:13-15)
Are you kidding me??!! People especially women are still following this stuff today?? I do not know how any person in their right mind would believe that this is the true moral book of life. Especially when the christian god permits and commits so many killings and deaths.
"Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Would people today read this and say that is the type of creator of the universe and supreme athority i want above my head. I wouldn't want some great dictator that discriminates and kills so that people believe in him.. In the Bible God kills 2,391,421+ people. (This is the sum of people killed throughout the different chapters.) Satan kills 10. Wow... who sounds like the tyrannt here?
